BTS: Femme Fair Fam

These past few months have been very busy for us over here at Weekend Creative. One of our long-term projects has been working with Femme Fair to create social media content (see BTS here) and photograph the influencers involved with this year's event in April.

Co-founders Stacey, Melissa, and Christina came to us with an idea for an editorial inspired by Solange's bridal party portraits. With each of the 20 women having their own distinct style, everyone wore various shades of nude to tie it all together. Peerspace is one of Femme Fair's sponsors this year and they were kind enough to let us shoot this editorial in one of their locations in SF. The space was a dream complete with large windows that let the light in beautifully.

One of the challenges we faced during this shoot was the large group size. Photographing 20 women is no small feat. We had to make sure that no one was hidden, both sides of the group were balanced, and the poses varied throughout. Aside from the main group shots, we were tasked with photographing each influencer's individual portrait. With a limited amount of time in the space, we needed to work quickly and efficiently to make sure we captured every shot.
