Inspiration 09 / A Design Kit

One of the coolest apps has just been released by one of our favorite companies, A Beautiful Mess. Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman are the two wonderful ladies behind this women's lifestyle brand that focuses on spreading happiness through homemade recipes, home decor projects, and crafts. I was so excited this morning to find out that their newest iOS app called A Design Kit was releasing today.

A Design Kit is an app that features a collection of brushes, fonts, designs, and stickers. The app allows you to create your own designs using photos of your own or patterns that A Design Kit provides.

I've been playing with the app almost all day and one of the things that really stuck out to me were the awesome selection of brushes. I loved how easy they were to use even without a stylus or a pen. Another great feature that I really enjoyed were the curated selection of fonts. I can't tell you how many times I've turned away from an app because of how poor their fonts were. It's so important to have text that is design friendly, clean, and can be easily customizable.

I can't wait to see what we can make with A Design Kit. Finally, an app that speaks our language. ;)
