Edit with Me: Lo-Fi Aperitifs x Moodelier

Hey friends! Wow, it has been a crazy couple of months. First, I want to apologize for how late this Edit With Me video is. I know we mentioned on our social media that if we got to 100 subscribers on Youtube, we would release another video and man, I wasn’t quite expecting that to happen as fast as it did. So thank you for subscribing and my apologies for not delivering it when I said I would. Forgive me?! Great, thanks. Appreciate you all haha! My video editing skills have definitely improved this time around and it truly helps when your screen recording program doesn’t crash on you every second. Lol! Anyway, you’ve likely seen quite a bit from this fun shoot we did for the Moodelier Course Bundle we were a part of. Although the courses are no longer available for purchase, I would definitely go subscribe to Moodelier’s e-mail newsletter in case they decide to open it back up.

Most of you are pretty familiar with all these fun shapes that we’ve been sharing on our site and our social media. Our friend Claire, the women behind Moodelier, finally launched her site and you can pre-order her pieces in various colors. You best believe that we’ve already ordered all her products. We’re just that obsessed. For this shoot, we focused on creating this magical and whimsical garden party that features Moodelier’s shapes and Lo-Fi Aperitifs. I’ll be sharing my entire editing process in this video including how I use certain editing tools like the Beauty Retouch panel, the Fader, and how I apply Lightroom presets made by our dear friend Diane Villadsen.

We hope you like our second Edit With Me video ever and hopefully I can be a little bit more consistent with our Youtube channel. Before I forget, if you didn’t already know, we launched an online community for photographers called The Weekend Club. We’re using Patreon as our platform and we’ll be releasing tons of special content including editing videos that won’t be shared on our Youtube channel. If you’re interested, you should definitely check it out. Oh, and one last thing, after I recorded myself editing this image for this Edit With Me, I went back and added fun sparkles which is why it looks a bit different from the final edited image in the video. I’m happy to share how I did that in a future video though so let me know if that’s something you’re interested in. Enjoy!

Is it the weekend yet?
