I’ve always loved clean and simple styling, but I’ve recently been seeing a lot of “messy” styling, the kind where it looks like a real life situation with everything thrown about imperfectly yet somehow perfectly. I really love the grittiness of this kind of work, and it works especially with food photography. It’s actually pretty difficult to make something look unintentional when it’s being intentionally set up. I’ve collected a few images that I came across that really accomplish this well.
