Goal Setting Guide
We may not know how to do many things, but BOY do we know how to set goals.
Goal-setting has been a part of our monthly and yearly rhythm from the very beginning of our business - we’re talking the very beginning (circa working from the floor of Elle’s living room).
We’ve found that setting goals for ourselves has been the best way to have things to strive towards (duh, goals), while bookmarking our accomplishments. If we’re honest, we’d probably just bulldoze through our work, day after day, year after year, without a second to think about what we’ve done or created, otherwise.
That’s why we love goal setting.
Goal setting is also a great excuse for internal party planning. In other words, when you set and achieve goals, you get to celebrate big time. Whether that’s a pizza party, treating yourself to a puppy, or buying an entire wall of donuts, you get to make the rules. It’s your celebration!
Now, the goals that you set will, of course, be completely specific to you and your brand, company or business. But, we’re excited to share our process with you, as a way to help you set your goals for your business, too.
Oh, and if you’re sitting here thinking, “it isn’t January, this doesn’t make sense for me right now,” you’re wrong. *shrug*
Our goal-setting process doesn’t have to start within any specific time frame or phase of the year - if you’re reading this in July, you can start now. Don’t let a silly thing like the idea of “time” (what even is time?) get in the way of leveling up your business.
...and if you’re reading this in January, what an opportune accident 👋
